The Church Building

The Church of St Peter & St Paul dates from the 12th century. There are 4 pages on this site associated with the church and the church hall, of which this is the first. On this page you will find some photos of the church.
See also the HISTORY page whilch will give you more information about the church down the centuries.

In the photos above you will see a picture of the chancel to the left and a picture down the nave to the right.

The pictures, in order from right to left are (1) The Lady Chapel, (2) Rood steps from the Lady Chapel that once would have led to a rood loft (no longer in existance), (3) a piscina (a place for washing sacred vessels) in the sanctuary, (4) the one remaining bell in the tower.

These last two photos show on the left a view of the North door and North arcade, and on the right the font. You can just see the font in the in the first picture by the left-most pillar.
